Restoring Clean Water Access in Tigray: A Story of Resilience
WASH Emergency - Scheme Maintenance
Kiros Girmay, a mother of seven from Tigray, relied on a well for clean water until conflict damaged it twice in four months. With the help of REST’s PIMS crew, the community swiftly repaired the well, bringing relief after months of hardship.
“We suffered for months without clean water,” says Kiros. “But now, thanks to the support, our well is maintained again.”
Despite challenges, REST ensures clean water access, fostering resilience in Tigray’s communities.
